Cara Crash is an east coast rocker, who started playing electric guitar at the age of six, reading and composing music. Although she plays rhythm guitar now, she was awarded one of the top lead guitar players in NJ at the age of nine (the only girl). Her CD "Crashin' Out" is doing well and has created quite a fan following.
Cara Crash is an east-coast NYC old-school, aggressive guitar-singing rock chick with a straight-ahead sound in the vein of The Clash,The Ramones and The Stones. Fusing power rock with melodic harmonies and a no-nonsense attitude, CC brings a surprising depth and honesty to classic rock progressions. "Bad Boys" has a Ramones flavor and party feel that gets even the more jaded person tapping their foot and singing along. "Everything I Could" takes a simple song about rejection, throws in some choirboy harmonies, and once you're settled in for the ride, CC's rasp cuts through the musical gravy and makes you listen to what she's actually saying. If you've ever been dumped, you'll know this song before you play it. "R - O - C - K Rock" is a thumping, headbanging sing-along extolling the praises of rock-and-roll glory. Don't be at all surprised when you catch yourself humming the chorus in the car on the way home. Member Since: June 17, 2006.
Influences: The Ramones, The Clash, The Stooges, the New York Dolls, Adam Ant, Killer Lipstick, Rancid, the Rolling Stones, Social Distortion, Faster Pussycat and Joan JettRecord Label:Nero Records/Mik-Kris Prod.
Cara is also a massive animal lover and is a big supporter of animal rights. She fought in Washington for stricter laws on animal cruelty and also fought for appropriate adoption procedures/background checks for animals being adopted into homes.
